Today is my birthday. The big Seven Oh or 70. I am both sad and glad for this milestone. Glad that I made it to 70. Happy that I am healthy ebough to do a lot of outdoor stuff. And thankful overall. However, I think about those that I have known that have passed and it makes me sad. And the aches and pains have been getting more frequent lately. But I intend to keep exploring outdoors as much as possible until I can’t anymore.
So today I took it easy. I did go and hike a 1 mile loop trail near where I live and did a bit of yard work. I got a bunch of Happy Birthday posts on Facebook and spent some of the day working on the website.
I look forward to the future and all that it holds.
