Since January, 2020 when the last M-DT maps were published there have been many relocations to the Mason-Dixon Trail along the Susquehanna River. They include:
- Moving about 4 miles of trail off of roads between the south boundry of Susquehanna State Park and Havre de Grace, MD.
- Moving about 3 miles of trail off of River RD north of Wrightsville, PA and into the new Hellam Hills Nature Preserve.
- A future relocation of about 3 miles of trail off of Furnace RD and into the new Susquehanna Riverlands State Park between River DR and Cororus Creek between Mount Wolf and Wrightsville, PA.
This is about 5% of this trail. So the distances presented on the M-DT Distance Calculator are close but do not reflect these recent relocations. Therefore, when hiking the M-DT, when in doubt, please follow the blazes.
