In 2011 I wanted to write a distance calculator for the Mason-Dixon Trail in PA, MD and DE. However, because of the way that their web server was configured, I needed to create a distance calculator that gave the results on the same page that the distance points were on. Ary Rodriguez, a developer where I worked as a system administrator, told me that he could code a web form that could do that. So Ary wrote the JavaScript code, I added the data and the HTML component and the rest was history. We should have been doing real work at the time so mea culpa.
