I haven’t done a product review on the new site yet so here we go. The product is a pair of Camel City Mill Merino Wool Lightweight Socks. I will describe the product, then give my personal thoughts on it.

These socks are designed to be work socks. They are made with Merino wool, spandex and nylon. They come in sizes L and XL (which I got and am wearing in the images), they come in gray or black and come in lightweight (which I got) and heavyweight. Suggested retail is $25.99 (as of 10/22/2023 and subject to change).

In my opinion, these socks are very comfortable. They fit my size 13 foot with ease. They are a mid calf sock. They fit my wide calves snugly but they don’t leave an imprint on your leg afterwards. They also have extra cushioning on the underside that adds to the comfort level. They look good. I thought it was neat that the American Flag on the top of the foot section is actually woven in. It’s not stamped on the sock. I got the lightweight sock because I always strive for lightweight clothing when hiking. These socks fit the bill. I really don’t want to take them off after I write this review.

In conclusion I think that you will like these socks. They are made in North Carolina and are a pleasure to wear. Camel City Mill currently has two types of socks in two different sizes. It’s a simple decision. The price is up there. But I have found that some of my most comfortable socks that I own were also in the same price range. These socks would make a nice gift. Thanks to Camel City Mill for sending me these socks to review. If you are interested in these socks, please click on the text link below:
